Pakistani Prime Minister Be Bhutto was awarded with the highest honor of the World Health Organization: the Gold Medal for Everyone. Ms Bhutto was awarded a gold medal in recognition of her outstanding contribution to Pakistan’s health performance, in particular the successful integration of health work and development master plans. This combination is the basic factor for everyone’s health care strategy. one. At the ceremony, Dr. Nakajima, WHO Director-General, emphasized that since he became Prime Minister in October 1993, Beth Bhutto has been firmly committed to ensuring that the health sector is given a high priority in Pakistan’s master plan for social and economic development. Therefore, during the period between 1993 and 1998, an equivalent of 8 billion U.S. dollars will be used for the development of social security.
