一、目前,我国出版社图书自办发行数量,迅速增长,新华书店征订数大大萎缩,特别是一些高层次的科技书。中国科学技术大学出版社1988年出版的《软件工程——方法、工具和实践》一书,全国新华书店的征订数仅500册,而在半年不到的时间内出版社自办发行了1.5万多册。如果还是按照老办法,即主要据新华书店征订数确定印数,已到了影响书的出版命运,压抑学术出版物的出版,短版活大量增多的严重地步。问题的症结正是传统的印数确定方法。
