The International Symposium on Japanese Practitioners’ Assault on China by Shijiazhuang Association for History of the Party was held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province from August 16 to August 18, 1995. A total of 162 historians and 21 historical witnesses from all over the country attended the symposium with 162 experts and scholars from Japan. At the opening ceremony, Chen Shusheng, deputy secretary of the CPC Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee, made an opening statement. He hopes that the scholars and scholars at the opening ceremony will speak their minds in a scientific, just and realistic manner. They will study in depth as well as make history positive so as to make active tribute in safeguarding world peace.
