50年前的1954年9月15日,第一届全国人民代表大会第一次会议召开。从此,一项崭新的制度——人民代表大会制度,作为我国的根本政治制度,在全国范围内确立;25年前的1979年12月18日,浙江省第五届人民代表大会第二次会议根据重新修订的地方组织法,选举产生了我省地方国家权力机关——浙江省人民代表大会常务委员会。 50年来,伴随着时代的步伐和我国社会主义民主法制建设的足音,我省地方人大及其常委会努力代表人民意志,充分行使各项职权,在推进我省改革开放、经济社会发展和社会主义民主法制建设中,发挥了重要作用。
