由于压下螺丝长期处在频繁正反转及高温的工作条件下,又要受到咬入轧件时的冲击,特别是我厂初轧机自从大量轧制扁锭坯以来,因其压下调整距离加大,螺丝需高速上升和下降,更加剧了螺丝与螺母间的摩擦,致使螺丝表面产生热疲劳,并出现明显的径向裂纹,加快了螺母和螺丝的报废。因此,一方面对压下螺丝要加强润滑,尽量减小冲击载荷。以防止径向裂纹的产生或扩展;另一方面则要设法使螺丝修复利用,达到延长螺丝使用寿命的目的。
