沉重的打击朝鲜人民军和我国人民志愿部队自十一月廿五日反攻以来的胜利,严重地挫折了美国侵略者的锋镝,打乱了美帝国主义在亚洲甚至全世界的侵略计划,并且极有力地鼓在励了全世界人民保术和平的斗争。这次反攻胜利现在还在继续扩大中。在西线,截至十二月一日为止,已经击毙、击伤和俘虏美国及其仆从国军队二万三千七百人,收复大片失地,缴获大量战利品。人民的部队追奔逐北,乘胜解放平壤,继续扩大战果。在东线,人民的部队将美国陆战第一师及步兵第七师各一部包围在长津湖以西及以南地区,现正在逃行殱灭中。这样,麦克阿瑟所狂吹的占领全朝鲜的『总攻势』便遭到了可耻的失败。
The heavy blows to the victory of the Korean People’s Army and our People’s Volunteer Force since their counterattack on November 25 have set a serious course in the vanguard of the U.S. aggressors and disrupted the aggressive plan of the U.S. imperialists in Asia and even in the world. It has strongly encouraged the people of all over the world in their fight for peace. The counter-offensive victory is still continuing to expand. On the west, as of December 1, 23,700 troops of the United States and their troops were killed, wounded and captives, recovering large areas of land and seizing large quantities of loot. People’s forces chase each other northwards and take liberty to liberate Pyongyang and continue to expand its success. On the eastern front, the people’s forces surrounded the first division of the United States Marine Corps and each of the seven divisions of the infantry in the west and south of Changjin Lake and are now fleeing into extinction. In this way, MacArthur’s wild “general offensive,” which occupied the whole of North Korea, had been shamefully failed.
