IPTV(网络电视)被认为是将来要普及到千家万户的巨大产业,中国电信、中国网通正在全国五省几十个城市进行试点。但是,由于迄今IPTV都没有已确定为AVS,导致运营商摸索着前进,各设备商的产品之间互不兼容的情况屡有发生,整个业界都怨声载道。据悉,针对这种情况,信产部已指定信产部电信研究院进行IPTV标准规范的制定、侧试。在经过半年准备后,相关IPTV标准已提交给主管通信标准制定工作的中国通信标准化协会审查。在IPTV的相关标准中,MPEG-4、H.264以及AVS的三大音视频解码格式标准之争,格外引人关注。IPTV标准争夺据了解,作为IPTV产业中,国内唯一具有自主知识产权的AVS技术标准,日前正式通过信产部专家鉴定。不过,从目前各个电信系统对IPTV的试行方案来看,在中国电信和中国网通的试点实验中,AVS并没有被采用。
IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is considered to be a huge industry to be popularized by thousands of households in the future. China Telecom and China Netcom are piloting dozens of cities across five provinces in the country. However, as IPTV has so far not been identified as an AVS, leading to operators groping forward, the equipment manufacturers do not always have the incompatibility between the occurrence of the situation, the industry complained. It is reported that, in view of this situation, the Ministry of Information Industry has designated Ministry of Information Industry Institute of Telecommunications IPTV standard-setting, side-by-side. After six months of preparation, the relevant IPTV standards have been submitted for review to China Communications Standards Association, which is responsible for the formulation of communications standards. In IPTV related standards, MPEG-4, H.264 and AVS three major audio and video decoding format standard controversial exceptionally cause for concern. IPTV standard competition It is understood that, as the IPTV industry, the only AVS technology standard with independent intellectual property rights, has officially passed the Ministry of Information Industry experts identified. However, from the current telecom systems IPTV trial program point of view, China Telecom and China Netcom’s pilot experiments, AVS has not been adopted.
