利川县位于鄂西南山区,是茶树原产地云贵高原向东北延伸的边缘部分,山峦重叠,是各类生物资源的宝库;我县“星斗山”属于全国100个自然保护区之一。这片土地是茶树由云贵高原向北移的过渡地带,也是茶树品种资源的宝库。县内茶区海拔高度多分布600—1100米之间,四季云雾弥漫,气候温和(年均12.7℃),雨量充沛(年降雨量1270毫米)。夏无酷暑、冬无严寒,适宜茶树生长,自然品质优良,历史上就有鸟洞“贡茶”之说。
Located in the mountainous area of southwestern Hubei, Lichuan County is the edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau that stretches northeastward to the northeast. The mountainous areas overlap and are the treasure houses of various biological resources. Xingtaishan in our county belongs to one of the 100 nature reserves in China. This piece of land is a transitional zone where the tea tree moves northward from the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and is also a treasure house of tea tree resources. The tea area in the county is mostly distributed at altitudes of 600-1100 meters above sea level. The four seasons are filled with clouds, with a mild climate (average annual temperature of 12.7 ℃) and abundant rainfall (annual rainfall of 1270 mm). No summer heat, no winter cold, suitable for the growth of tea trees, natural quality, there is a bird hole in the history of “tribute tea” said.
