冒着炎炎烈日,笔者有幸采访了已故著名国画大师蒋兆和的胞妹、辛亥革命先驱蔡汇东的儿媳、蕲春县著名女画家蒋万琦先生。在蕲春火车站广场旁蒋万琦租住的寓所里,女画家向记者讲述了她传奇而曲折的一生。女画家的传奇经历现年90岁的蒋万琦先生出生于四川泸州一个书香世家,幼读诗书,16岁孤身跋涉千里到上海求学。在哥哥蒋兆和的帮助下,她入读上海复旦大学,并曾得徐悲鸿、齐白石、刘海粟等大师亲自指点画技。在为我党地下秘密工作的峥嵘岁月里,蒋万琦认识了蕲春籍大学生、我国辛亥革命先驱蔡汇东先生之子蔡继达,在患难与共中两人产生了真挚的爱情。1935年,他们结为
Raging the scorching sun, I was fortunate enough to interview the late famous Chinese painting master Jiang Zhaohe’s sister, Revolutionary Revolution Caihui East’s daughter-in-law, Qichun famous painter Jiang Wanqi.
