《全日制小学思想品德课教学大纲》提出:“有条件的学校可以配备专职教师。”根据近年来我区一些学校的体会,专职教师比兼职教师担任思想品德课好处多。 1、有利于贯彻《大纲》的要求一是能保证专时专用,避免了思想品德课被挤占或挪用。二是能系统地钻研《大纲》和教材,按时完成教学进度。思想品德课是一门涉及面广、系统性强,思想性、知识性、趣味性和实践性溶为一体的学科,要把它钻深钻透才能上好。专职教师有较多的时间研究《大纲》和教材,能较准确地掌握各年级的教学要求,可以对小学全套十二册教材有完整的认识,做到胸中有全局。而兼职教师一般只局限于研究《大纲》中与自己教学最直接有关的方面。因此,在知识的衔接和道德观念形成等方面,兼职教师不如专职教师抓得紧凑连贯。
