WDM-PON是以波分复用作为接入技术的一种无源光网络,是未来接入网技术在很长一段时间内的终极研究方向。随着研究的不断加深,基于频谱分割的波分复用无源光网络技术开始逐渐完善和成熟,极大的促进了我国无源光网络技术的发展。但也因此引出了技术承载设备匹配度低、系统性能不稳定的问题,制约了无源光网络接入技术的进一步突破和发展。本文即试图通过对WDM-PON技术的进一步阐述,提出了在整体系统中加置SOA和EDFA器件以起到改善频谱分割WDM-PON系统性能的设想,并在此基础上进行试验研究以验证其方案的可行性,最终得出了加置SOA与EDFA设备可以明显改善频谱分割WDM-PON系统性能的结论。
WDM-PON is a passive optical network based on wavelength division multiplexing as an access technology and is the ultimate research direction of access network technologies in the future for a long period of time. With the continuous deepening of research, the technology of wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network based on spectrum segmentation has been gradually improved and matured, which has greatly promoted the development of passive optical network technology in our country. However, it also leads to the problem of low matching degree of the technical bearer equipment and instability of the system performance, which restricts the further breakthrough and development of the passive optical network access technology. This article attempts to further elaborate on WDM-PON technology by proposing the idea of adding SOA and EDFA devices to the overall system to improve the performance of spectrum-splitting WDM-PON system. Based on this, experimental research is conducted to verify that The feasibility of the scheme ultimately leads to the conclusion that adding SOA and EDFA equipment can significantly improve the performance of spectrum splitting WDM-PON system.
