最近召开的全国卫生工作会议总结了建国以来,特别是党的十一届三中全会以后,我国卫生工作取得的巨大成就和基本经验。进一步阐明了党的卫生工作方针、卫生事业属性及卫生改革与发展的主要方向,其中农村卫生是研究的重点,也是我们卫生工作永恒的主题。因为农民群众占了全国人口的80％,如果农村卫生没有搞好,就不能说我国的卫生工作搞好了,这是一个很严肃的政治问题。我们必须通过学习贯彻全国卫生工作会议精神,进一步加强农村卫生工作,切实保障农民群众的身体健康。
The recently convened National Health Work Conference summarized the great achievements and basic experience gained in China’s health work since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, especially after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Party Congress. Further clarifying the party’s health work guidelines, the nature of health care, and the main directions of health reform and development, rural health is the focus of research and is also the eternal theme of our health work. Because the peasant masses account for 80% of the country’s population, if rural health is not done well, we cannot say that our country’s health work is done well. This is a very serious political issue. We must further strengthen the rural health work and earnestly safeguard the health of the peasants by studying and implementing the spirit of the National Health Work Conference.
