“If you remove the ’skin’ of Japanese culture, its ’瓤’ remains a traditional Chinese thing,” says Guan Ning, a researcher at the National Museum of China. His view was well confirmed for the award of Japan’s top national treasure. On the basis of absorbing and drawing lessons from ancient Chinese civilization, Japan has created a culture with its own national characteristics. These relics reproduce the life customs and religious beliefs of different classes in ancient Japanese society and enable us to cross the time tunnel to experience the rich and colorful culture of the ancient Fuso Kingdom and its unique customs and practices.
