在第二届信息无障碍论坛上,出席论坛的联合国教科文组织官员有力地指出,信息无障碍在中国的起点高,发展快,他们也预测这个事业在中国的意义最大,因为中国的人口众多,而其中残疾人有6000多万之众,一旦信息无障碍在中国发展起来,带来的改变将是我们无法想象的。作为一个促进残疾人平等参与社会生活的全国性公益组织,同时也作为两届信息无障碍论坛的重要组织者之一,中国残疾人福利基金会早在论坛召开的十几年以前就已经开始关注信息无障碍,不能不说是卓有远见的。在本期的信息无障碍专栏中,我们有幸邀请到中国残疾人
