辽东半岛南部韧性推覆剪切带的主要特征是全区普遍发育有平缓密集的片理或劈理、SEE—NWW向拉伸线理、同方向“A”型褶皱以及糜棱岩带、旋转构造等。通过拉伸砾石、拉伸鲕粒的有限应变分析,砾石1、砾石2的富林指数分别为1.187、1.186、鲕粒的富林指数为1。拉伸砾石变形量,X轴拉伸165%,Y轴不变,Z轴缩短60%,拉伸鲕粒变形量,X轴拉伸54%,Y轴不变,Z轴缩短30%。韧性剪切带主界面沿本区沉积盖层(上先寒武系—古生界)与基底(太古代鞍山群变质岩系)之间的不整合面发育。主滑脱面之上的外来系统中(上先寒武系—古生界)还发育着次滑脱面。
