森林在自然环境中具有多种效益.本文根据在游山地区的调查和观察,拟就森林植被在山地水土保持中的作用作一些粗浅的论述,供生产上参考.游山地区属茅山系脉,由大、小游山等16个主要山头组成,宜林山地面积11,800多亩,是高淳县重点山区之一.该区地处北热带季风气候区,6—9月的降水量占全年的47%.山地地带性土壤是黄棕壤,主要土壤类型是黄刚土.同时还分布着非地带性的石质土、老红土、石灰岩土、紫色土等.

The precipitation in June- 47% .The zonal soil is yellow brown soil, the main soil type is yellow clay.At the same time also distributed non-zonal stone soil, laterite, limestone soil, purple soil and so on.
