有一阵子我非常喜欢在礼拜天早晨醒来,借着亨德尔的《弥赛亚》啜饮咖啡、或奶茶。一位笃信基督教的朋友非常惊讶我的恶习,为何会将一部描写耶稣基督受难舍身的神剧,当作提神的背景音乐。
For a while I really enjoyed waking up on Sunday morning, sipping coffee or milk tea with Handel’s Messiah. A devout Christian friend was amazed at my bad habits by thinking of an oratorio depicting the crucifixion of Jesus Christ as a refreshing background music.
