本文从分析英国作家鲁德亚德.吉卜林的小说《基姆》中的典型意象红色公牛入手,以后殖民的视角,通过具体阐明其与文本中三类人物的关系,指出作者在文本中着意刻画英国殖民政府十九世纪末对印度的脉脉温情却又同时无意识地透露了其实质残忍的一面。
This article starts with the analysis of the typical image of the bull in the novel Kimi by the English writer Ruddard Kipling. From the perspective of colonialism in the future, through concrete elucidation of the relationship between the three types of characters in the text, It is intended to portray the warmth of the British colonial government toward India at the end of the nineteenth century while at the same time unconsciously revealing its cruel real side.
