电爆或电力导爆索联合网路,不仅受到杂散电流或雷电的威胁,而且施工繁杂,要求极严,在使用中受到种种限制。导爆管起爆系统,由于它具有抗电、抗水、耐温、无冲击感度以及弯曲、打结均能正常起爆等特性,足以克服电爆网路中存在的缺点,从而为硐室爆破提供了新的非电起爆系统的可能性。我矿从1980年9月以来,经过地表模拟试验后,在露天硐室爆破中正式采用了导爆管起爆系统,并且取得了良好的效果(附表)。
