本刊自1月份刊登了与北京市成人教育学会、北京市成人教育科学研究所联合发起的“从社会主义初级阶段的理论出发,对成人教育进行反思与前瞻”专题讨论征稿启事后,在读者和作者中引起了较大的反响。大家认为,是否有利于发展生产力,确实应当成为我们考虑一切问题的出发点和检验一切工作的根本标准。成人教育较之其它教育应当更直接有效地为发展生产力服务。那么,成人教育如何才能直接有效地为发展生产力服务呢?它的客观标准是什么?我们在教育思想、内容、结构、机制以及理论研究、政策措施上应如何改革或有何进展呢?为了使专题讨论进一步深化,我们三个单位邀请北京市部分委(办)、局(总公司)教育处和岗位培训试点单位的负责同志、退居二线的老成人教育工作者、中央部委部分职工教育负责同志以及成人教育理论界的专家、学者等开了几次座谈会。在座谈会上有系统发言的同志,我们已请他们撰文发表,例如本期刊登的杨歼修和张德昌两位同志的文章,基本上是他们在座谈会上发言的内容。这部分发言以后还将陆续刊登,纪要中就不再重复。纪要只就大家议论较多或有不同意见的观点加以综合,供同志们研究、参考。
