“为思维而教”以“学思结合”为理论基础,是英语教育中的重要价值取向之一。英语学习的特点和方式决定了英语教育必须重视思维培养,而从英语教育的价值诉求出发,“为思维而教”具有提高学生智力、学习能力、学习成绩的现实意义。在英语文本阅读方面探索“为思维而教”的课程化、教学化、活动化策略,既从宏观方面阐述对课程实施的建议,又从微观角度阐述了课程操作方式,成为提高学生思维能力的主要环节。
