同志们:我很高兴地参加了这次会议。这次农业中学教师代表会议、是我省一次重要的教育工作会议。这个会议是由中共江苏省委和江苏省人民委员会决定召开的。从这一点来看,我们就可以看到这个会议的重大意义。农业中学和各种职业中学是一种新型的学校。它以培养有社会主义觉悟的有文化的劳动者为目标,采取半工半读的制度,坚持勤俭办学的原则,具体地体现了党的教育方针,得到了广大群众的拥护,为多快好省地发展社会主义教育事业开辟了一条广阔的途径。因此,我们认为创办农业中学和各种职业中学这件事,是做对了的,做得好的,做得
Comrades: I was very happy to attend this meeting. This meeting of representatives of agricultural secondary school teachers is an important education work conference in our province. This meeting was decided by the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Committee. From this point of view, we can see the great significance of this meeting. Agricultural secondary schools and various vocational secondary schools are new types of schools. It aims at cultivating literate workers with socialist consciousness. It adopts a semi-reading system and adheres to the principle of diligent schooling. It concretely embodies the party’s education policy and has won support from the broad masses. Provincial development of socialist education has opened up a broad approach. Therefore, we believe that the establishment of agricultural secondary schools and various vocational schools was done right, well done, and done well.
