开放以来,美术界出现的一个新问题是:商品化的发展与商品意识的增长。人们常说,理论工作者要研究新问题,总结新经验。那么是否可以从这方面加以探讨呢?我想,当然可以,这与重视艺术规律并不矛盾。正像任何事物都处在联系中一样,美术作为一种社会文化现象,也难与它置根的社会环境绝缘。因此,实事求是地研究这一问题,虽非研究美术创作本身,但对于美术事业的健康发展是不可缺少的。
Since the opening up, a new problem emerged in the art world: the development of commercialization and the growth of awareness of goods. People often say that theoretical workers should study new problems and sum up new experiences. Is it possible to discuss this aspect? I think it is of course possible that this does not contradict the emphasis on artistic rules. Just as anything is in contact, art as a social and cultural phenomenon can not be insulated from the social environment in which it is rooted. Therefore, to study this issue in a realistic way, though it is not the study of the art itself, is indispensable to the healthy development of fine arts.
