Objective: To investigate the differences of the expression of Survivin and Bcl-xL in mycosis fungoides, eczema and normal skin and their clinical significance. Methods: Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of Survivin and Bcl-xL in 30 cases of mycosis fungoides, 20 cases of eczema and 15 cases of normal human skin. Results: The positive rates of Survivin and Bcl-xL in epidermis and dermis of patients with mycosis fungoides were significantly higher than those of eczema and normal skin (P <0.05). The expression of Survivin and Bcl-xL in epidermis and dermis of mycosis fungoides in each period had statistical significance (P <0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Survivin and Bcl-xL are highly expressed in mycosis fungoides. The abnormal expression of Survivin and Bcl-xL plays an important role in the development of mycosis fungoides. Survivin and Bcl-xL may be valuable in the differential diagnosis of mycosis fungoides and dermatological inflammatory diseases The reference index.
