新近召开的全国救灾减灾工作会议提出:要把工作重心转向救灾减灾并重上来。这是适应国家自然灾害管理重大转型的新变化,是新时期经济社会发展对救灾减灾工作的新要求。我们要站在历史发展的新起点,切实转变观念,科学判断形势,超前确定思路,勇于实践创新,走出救灾减灾工作科学发展之路。
The recently held national conference on disaster relief and mitigation put forward that we should shift the focus of work to disaster relief and mitigation. This is a new change to adapt to the major transformation of the country’s natural disaster management and a new requirement for disaster relief and mitigation in the new era of economic and social development. We must stand at a new starting point for historical development, change our concepts in a down-to-earth manner, scientifically judge the situation, ascertain our thinking ahead of schedule, bravely practice and innovate, and stepping out of the road of scientific development in disaster relief and disaster reduction work.
