我国基础英语课程改革已有十余年。在课程标准修订前后,对课程目标的讨论逐渐增多,其中有学者大力倡导着眼学生综合素质培养的多元目标。基于此,本文简要回顾20世纪我国外语教育发展的不同时期对如何处理“语”和“文”关系的探讨和实践,并提出“语文并重”的理念,即在基础英语课程改革中,语言与文学同等重要,近期应尤其注意避免“重语轻文”的倾向,以更好地促成多元目标的实现和学生综合素质的提高。
China’s basic English curriculum reform has been more than ten years. Before and after the revision of the curriculum standards, the discussion on the curriculum objectives gradually increased, among which many scholars advocated the multiple goals of cultivating the overall quality of students. Based on this, this article briefly reviews the discussion and practice of how to deal with the relationship between “language” and “Wen” in different periods of development of foreign language education in our country in the 20th century and puts forward the concept of “equal emphasis on language” In course reform, language and literature are equally important. In the near future, special attention should be paid to avoiding the tendency of “emphasizing English” so as to better promote the realization of multiple goals and the overall quality of students.
