随着英语的广泛运用,英语教学也受到高度的重视。新的《基础教育阶段英语课程标准》己于2003年9月颁布试行,探索如何帮助学生形成有效的学习策略,如何根据学生的自身特点,有效发挥学习语言的策略而达到最佳效果。本文引用了中外名人、名家在学习语言策略方面的精辟理论,并采用了例证、对比、分类、图表等多种方法进行论证。结果表明,经过教师系统的语言策略训练后,学生基本上已掌握了语言学习方法的一些要素,尤其是进入高中阶段学习后,他们中绝太多数都能正确运用不同的学习策略,有效地监控自己的学习行为,基本达到能自主学习,能理性对待学习的艰苦性和长期性。但一般认知策略的培养更具体、更艰苦,这需要教师在平时对学生逐步渗透。因而,在外语教学中,教师要根据学生的自身特点,让他们很好地运用元认知策略去评价自己使用的学习策略是否成功,督促他们选用适合自己的有效策略,并根据不同学习阶段的特点使策略适应具体的语言任务。我们还应将对学生的策略指导和培养与我们的日常英语教学活动结合起来。这样教学质量一定会有明显的提高。

However, the development of general cognitive strategies is more specific and more difficult, which requires teachers to gradually infiltrate students. Therefore, in foreign language teaching, teachers should make good use of metacognitive strategies to evaluate the success of their learning strategies according to their own characteristics, and urge them to choose the appropriate strategies for their own use, and according to the different learning stages Features to adapt strategies to specific language tasks. We should also combine strategic mentoring and training of students with our daily English teaching activities. This teaching quality will certainly be significantly improved.
