国家新闻出版署为促进我国印刷业的发展,1998年9月下旬组织了部分省(区)新闻出版局和少数新华印刷厂的领导同志赴英国和德国考察。首先是重点考察IPEX’98英国伯明翰印刷工业展览,之后考察德国海得堡印刷机械股份公司。两地的考察都给了我们很深刻的印象,使我们认识到差距的巨大。中国要成为一个名副其实的出版印刷大国,赶上当今世界印刷业的发展水平,必须加快印刷业的发展,在深化印刷企业改革的同时,加大印刷企业特别是大型印刷企业的技术改造力度非常必要。以云南省情况看,需要付出的努力更大,对此我们要有一个清醒的认识。
In order to promote the development of China’s printing industry, the State Press and Publications Administration organized leading comrades of the press and publication bureaus of some provinces (districts) and a handful of Xinhua printing factories to visit Britain and Germany in late September 1998. The first is to focus on the IPEX’98 exhibition in the printing industry in Birmingham, UK, followed by a visit to Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in Germany. The visits of the two places have given us a very deep impression and made us realize that the gap is huge. In order to become a veritable publishing and printing country, and to catch up with the development level of the printing industry in the world today, we must speed up the development of the printing industry. It is necessary to intensify the technological transformation of printing companies, especially large printing companies, while deepening the reform of printing enterprises. . Looking at the situation in Yunnan Province, we need to make greater efforts. We must have a clear understanding of this.
