After World War II, Japan established its strategic decision of “building a nation based on science and technology”. For this reason, Japan has invested huge sums of money in introducing a large amount of advanced science and technology from Europe and the United States. This policy has achieved great success. Therefore, in a relatively short period of time, Japan’s economy was developed at an alarming rate. In the 1970s, as Japan became a world economic power, it ranked among the United States and the Soviet Union. Japan’s development has drawn great attention from many politicians and scholars in the world. They are very much interested in why Japan is so rapidly developing. Therefore, in recent years, many western countries have sent people to Japan for study and study so as to obtain enlightenment and reference from them. For the same purpose, I translated the article “Overview of Japan’s Science and Technology Development” for reference.
