杭州高新区于1990年3月成立,是首批国家级高新区之一,位于钱塘江北文教区一带,面积11.44平方公里。1997年1月,杭州市新设立滨江区,由西兴、长河、浦沿三镇组成,面积73平方公里。2002年6月,杭州市委、市政府决定调整高新区、滨江区管理体制,实行两块牌子、一套班子、全交叉兼职,既按开发区模式运作,又行使地方党委、政府职能。目前,杭州高新区(滨江)由江北、江南和江东科技园三大区块组成,下辖3个街道,有51个社区,常住人口32.27万人。2013年,全区实现生产总值570亿元,增长
Founded in March 1990, Hangzhou Hi-tech Zone is one of the first state-level hi-tech zones in the northern cultural and educational district of Qiantang River with an area of 11.44 square kilometers.
