The tobacco allergy to the virus (HR) leads to the production of new soluble protein-b protein. We have been able to confirm that this phenomenon is not specific to the virus that tobacco infects but rather a common response of tobacco to an allergic reaction. In fact, this new b-protein is produced in tobacco when it has an allergic reaction to a non-coexisting strain of Pseudomonas syringae or fungus (Thiel-aviopsls basicola). In addition, P.fluorescens and nematodes, which cause Aphelenchoides ritzemabosi, also cause b-protein synthesis.
