消除贫困、改善民生、实现共同富裕,是社会主义的本质要求。对困难群众,我们要格外关注、格外关爱、格外关心,千方百计帮助他们排忧解难,把群众的安危冷暖时刻放在心上,把党和政府的温暖送到千家万户。革命老区和老区人民为中国革命胜利作出了重要贡献,党和人民永远不会忘记。改革开放30多年来,我国人民生活水平总体上发生很大变化。
Eradicating poverty, improving people’s livelihood and realizing common prosperity are the essential requirements of socialism. We should pay special attention to the needy people, show extra care and concern for them. We will try our best to help them solve their problems and keep the peace and well-being of the masses in mind at all times. We will bring the warmth of the party and government to every household. The old revolutionary base areas and the people in the old areas made important contributions to the victory of the Chinese revolution and the party and the people will never forget. Over the past 30 years of reform and opening up, the living standards of our people have undergone great changes in general.
