全国人民在欢声笑语中迎来了1998年。回顾已经逝去的1997年,使中国人民特别引以自豪的是,我们洗雪了150多年的国耻,终于使东方明珠香港回到了祖国的怀抱;我们欢庆领导我们事业的核心力量中国共产党召开的第十五次代表大会,为全国人民进一步指明了跨入21世纪的前进方向;我们从三峡伟大工程截流长江成功的宏伟壮举中,感受到了勤劳、勇敢、智慧的中华民族,可以创造出任何人间奇迹。感奋、自豪,只是感性上的一种激情,但人们往往还要向理性方面探索:我们所取得的一切成功,难道不是全国人民
