亚硝酸盐和含有亚硝酸基的有机化合物,在临床上使用已久,但因其疗效持续时间较短,且有若干副作用。故现已少用。四硝基五碳赤丝藻醇C(CH_2ONO_2)_4是含有亚硝基的有机化合物,国内尚无此种制剂生产,对高血压症、心绞痛、偏头痛及喘息等有效,持续时间较久而副作用少。为了治疗以上各症,利用各教研室使用的福尔马林,经放置日久所生成的聚合甲醛,试合成该药,并观察其血压降下作用。
