In the period from 1977 to early 1983, the Institute operated according to the “Pharmaceutical Hygiene Inspection Method” of the Ministry of Health’s Institute for the Control of Pharmaceutical and Biological Products. It sampled 78 varieties and 141 batches produced by 39 pharmaceutical factories in 39 provinces and cities.
