本刊1991年第3期发表的简讯《澳大利亚哈默斯利铁矿公司提高矿石价格》,系译自英国《采矿周刊》。但其中有关块矿和粉矿的“含铁品位”以及矿石价格中美元和澳元的单位,似有可疑和不当之处;而“长吨”则系“长吨度”之误。为了使读者对日本近期从国外进口铁矿石的价格有一个比较全面而具体的了解,现特将美国《斯基林氏矿业评论》(Skillings’ Mining Review)1991年2月9日报道的有关材料,摘译整编如下,以供参考。
Our newsletter, Issue 3, 1991, “HAMLSLEY IRON MINE, INCREASES ORE Prices,” is translated from the British “Mining Weekly.” However, the “iron grade” of lump ore and fines, and the unit of US dollar and Australian dollar in ore prices, seem suspicious and improper. The “long ton” is a mistake of “long tonnage.” In order to give readers a more complete and concrete picture of Japan’s recent price of imported iron ore from abroad, the report of the Skillings’ Mining Review (February 9, 1991) Materials, Excerpts Reorganization below, for reference.
