两年前,一封中学生的信曾经引起吕叔湘先生的优虑。那封信,错字病句连篇,概念混淆,层次不清;可是那位中学生竟不自知,好高鹜远,要搞文艺创作和学术研究。这封信反映出当时相当多数的中学生语文水平低下的状况。对此,吕先生指出,语文教学应面向大多数,从实际出发,注重打好基础。今年参加高考阅卷,欣喜地看到,当年引起吕先生忧虑的现象已大有好转。但在作文试卷中,又出现了另一个令人忧虑的现象:为数不少的学生,爱“转文”,好写
Two years ago, a letter from a high school student had caused Mr. Lu Shuxiang’s concerns. The letter was full of typos and sentences, the concept was confusing and the level was unclear. However, the middle school student did not know himself and was far too high to engage in literary creation and academic research. This letter reflects the situation of a relatively low number of middle school students with low language skills. In this regard, Mr. Lu pointed out that Chinese language teaching should be oriented toward the majority, starting from reality, and paying attention to laying a good foundation. This year I participated in the college entrance examination papers and I was delighted to see that the phenomenon that caused Mr. Lu’s anxiety during the year had greatly improved. However, in the essay paper, another worrying phenomenon has emerged: a large number of students love to “circulate” and write well.
