进入新世纪全球经济一体化的趋势越来越明显,欧洲共同体、美洲自由贸易区等大型区域经济组织的诞生,标志着全球经济的新动态,即跨区域、跨国界的经济组织形成。在这个历史的时刻,港澳台和祖国内地在新世纪中如何发展经济,已成为迫切的问题。在此本人特倡议:加强港澳台和内地经济的合作,共同建立中国经济自由贸易区。
The trend toward global economic integration in the new century has become more and more evident. The birth of large-scale regional economic organizations such as the European Community and the Free Trade Area of the Americas marked the new dynamic of the global economy, that is, the formation of cross-regional and cross-border economic organizations. At this historical moment, how Hong Kong, Maucao and Mainland China develop their economy in the new century has become an urgent issue. In this my special initiative: to strengthen Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s economic cooperation with the Mainland to jointly establish China’s economic free trade zone.
