The “gulf” between scientific research and industry has always existed. The technological barriers set by advanced countries have been on the increase. Transferring and transformation still face many challenges. In the process of building an innovation-oriented country, it is the responsibility of scientists and technicians to take the leading role. In the co-operation between academies and schools, the Chinese Academy of Sciences has not only exported science and technology, achievements and talents, but more importantly, it has exported innovative thinking and scientific spirit and contributed to the popularization of the entire social science and the development of science and technology.
