管子压扁试验是工艺性能试验之一。大量用于造船工业的压力管、锅炉管、油管等的试验。我国以前的船舶规范对该项试验的压扁要求是根据管子厚度来决定压扁试验后的高度。如10钢管规定为2倍管子壁厚的高度;20#钢管规定为4倍管子壁厚的高度,不考虑管子的直径大小及管子壁厚,显然是不合理的。近年来采用了国外的金属管压扁试验法,压扁高度为H,H值随着金属管的直径(D)和金属管壁厚(t)而变化,其高度H值的公式如下: H=((1+a)t)/(a+(t/D)) 式中:H——试样压扁试验后的高度; t——金属管的壁厚(公称尺寸); D——金属管的外径(公称尺寸); α——单位长度的变形系数(ZC-中国船级
