日本京陶公司在不断努力发展内燃机陶瓷零件上又迈出了新的一步,最近研制了一种排量为1.236升的4缸直喷式柴油机并对其进行了试验。活塞、气缸套、气缸盖隔热板、增压器叶轮以及活塞环在设计时都采用有限元法进行了应力分析。这些零件是用氮化硅陶瓷或氮化钛基金属陶瓷制造的。陶瓷零件的耐久性研究是在单缸机上进行的。在对每个零件进行无损检测确信没有缺陷之后(缺陷可能造成零件过早地破裂),安装了一台水平对置的4缸发动机并作了台架试验。 京陶公司研究了活塞上的燃烧室结构和燃油喷射压力对发动机性能的影响。尽管在进行了特殊的设计之后发动机性能有了显著的改善,但仍需要在设计上进行改进。发动机在45马力(PS)、4500转/分的全负荷状态下进行了试验。而后又装在轿车上进行了道路试验。
Japan Jingtao Company has taken a new step in its continuous efforts to develop the internal combustion engine ceramic parts. Recently, a 4-cylinder DI diesel engine with a displacement of 1.236 liters has been developed and tested. Pistons, cylinder liners, cylinder head heat shields, turbocharger impellers, and piston rings were all stress analyzed using the finite element method. These parts are made of silicon nitride ceramic or titanium nitride-based cermet. The durability study of ceramic parts is carried out on a single cylinder machine. After a non-destructive inspection of each part was made sure that there was no defect (the defect could cause the part to rupture prematurely), a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine was installed and bench tested. Jingtao company studied the piston combustion chamber structure and fuel injection pressure on the engine performance. Although there has been a significant improvement in engine performance after a special design has been made, there is still a need for design improvements. The engine was tested at 45 hp (PS) at full load at 4500 rpm. And then installed in the car on the road test.
