一九五四年九月二十日,中華人民共和國第一屆全國人民代表大會第一次會議通過了中華人民共和國憲法。從這一天起,全國人民必須遵循著憲法所規定的道路,努力前進。我們教育工作者,必須把憲法的精神貫徹到教育工作中去。 劉少奇同志在關於憲法草案報告小說:「在中國出現的真正的憲法,畢竟只能是人民民主主義和社會主義的憲法。」人民民主主義和社會主義就是我們憲法的基本精神。我們的教育要貫徹憲法的精神,也就是要貫徹人民民主主義和社會主義。
On September 20, 1954, the First Session of the First National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China adopted the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China. From this day on, the people throughout the country must follow the path set by the Constitution and work hard to move forward. We educators must carry the spirit of the constitution into their educational work. In his novels on the draft constitution, Comrade Liu Shaoqi said: “The real constitution that emerged in China can only be the people’s democracy and the socialist constitution, after all.” People’s democracy and socialism are the basic spirit of our constitution. Our education should carry out the spirit of the constitution, that is, to implement people’s democracy and socialism.
