巴金是“五四”新文化运动以来中国最具影响力的作家之一。自1929年初巴金发表轰动文坛的处女作《灭亡》后,他就一直倍受中外专家、学者的关注。虽然他们对巴金作了大量研究,但是大多各自为战,对彼此的研究成果了解不多,尤其是中国学者对国外巴金研究了解不够。本文选取英语世界的部分重要的著作及学位论文,对英语世界的巴金研究与中国的巴金研究的利弊得失,及其对中国巴金研究提供的启示与借鉴加以阐释分析,以期推动中国的巴金研究的发展与进步。
Ba Jin was one of the most influential writers in China since the “May Fourth” New Culture Movement. Since the early 1929 Ba Jin published a debut in literary world debut, he has been much attention by Chinese and foreign experts and scholars. Although they did a lot of research on Ba Jin, they mostly fought each other and did not know much about each other’s research results. In particular, Chinese scholars did not know enough about foreign Ba Jin studies. This article selects some important works and dissertations from the English-speaking world, expounds and analyzes the pros and cons of the study of the Bajin in the English-speaking world and the study of China’s Ba Jin, and its enlightenment and reference to the study of China’s Ba Jin, with a view to promoting the study of Ba Jin in China Development and progress.
