长城机床厂、机床研究所、工具研究所与第二汽车制造厂的广大职工,遵照毛主席“备战、备荒、为人民”的教导,密切合作,设计试制了一条CH—ZX5型花键轴自动线。该线目前已调试投产,其机床及机械手、料道等稳定可靠,机床布局合理,对轴类零件的加工效果较好。花键轴自动线由三台CH—10型专用仿型车床组成。用于汽车花键轴的粗、精车外圆加工工序。
