聚合草系紫草科聚合草属的一种多年生植物.我所于1976年春从东北农学院引入,经四年试种,初步认为它是适宜我区种植的有发展前途的高产优质的饲料作物.一、试种表现1.产量情况:1976年春引进一株种根,当年进行试种,1977年正式试验.在栽培过程中,每年秋季施一次厩肥,每亩4,000斤左右.每茬收获后施一次化肥,每亩尿素10—15斤.经三年试验,其产草量比同等条件下的紫花苜蓿高,头年单产(鲜草)达2,177公斤(为苜蓿的120%),二年单产4,888公斤(为苜蓿的248%),三年单产达7,906公斤(为苜蓿的310%).
