一般地说,中学生都渴望在学习上取得好成绩,得到老师和同学的好评和尊重。因而后进生的内心常处于压抑状态,自暴自弃,玩世不恭。但是,也有不少后进生不能忍受这种受压抑状态,为了追求心理上的暂时平衡,常常在课堂等场合,采取不正当的方法来表现自己的“超人之处”,以满足自己的心理需求。这种心理需求就是后进生的“表现欲”。例如:老师正兴致勃勃地讲课,突然响起一声咳嗽声,安静的课堂气氛风波骤起。这种现象常被认为调皮捣蛋,实际就是这种“表现欲”的具体表现。诸如此类的情况在教学中是屡见不鲜的。
