形容词能否直接活用作动词?关于这个问题,认识上并不一致,包括一些很有影响的古汉语大家,都持否定态度,而只是承认形容词活用作动词后的使动用法和意动用法。也有持不同观点的,比如1978年和1984年先后出版的《医古文》教材就肯定了这一点。实际上,形容词直接活用作动词的情况是普遍存在的,其语译格式大体上可以分为以下三类(这里不包括使动用法和意动用法):一、活用作动词的形容词前加一相应动词,形容词作该动词的补语。
