白×春榆系1981年从山东引种至沿海,目前长势旺盛,具明显的杂种优势.如引种较早的白×春榆嫁接当地白榆,近3年生,平均高7.8米,平均胸径8.1厘米;最大高8.5米,最大胸径11.5厘米,其高、径生长速度分别是当地白榆的184.8%、174.2%.为使杂交榆(F_1)的优良性状,在繁殖过程中既不发生性状分离,又能加快苗木繁殖,我们于1983年夏进行了嫩枝扦插试验,取得了较好的结果.现初步整理如下:
