抗战初期,武汉一度成为全国抗战的中心。周恩来肩负党交给的重任,在武汉做了众多艰苦而又细致的工作,巩固、发展抗日民族统一战线;指导群众性的抗日救亡运动;联系国际友人、爱国华侨,壮大抗日力量。这些都极大地促进了武汉地区的抗日救亡运动,掀起了救亡运动的高潮,增强了中国共产党在全国的影响,其历史影响深远。
In the early days of the Anti-Japanese War, Wuhan was once the center of the national war of resistance. Zhou Enlai has shouldered the heavy responsibility entrusted by the party and has done many painstaking and meticulous work in Wuhan so as to consolidate and develop the national united front against Japanese aggression and guide the mass anti-Japanese national salvation movement. He has also made contact with international friends and patriotic overseas Chinese to strengthen the anti-Japanese forces. All these have greatly promoted the anti-Japanese national salvation movement in Wuhan, set off the climax of the national salvation movement and strengthened the influence of the CPC in the whole country. Its history has far-reaching effects.
