“城市昆虫学”是一门新学科,美国加州大学昆虫学系WalterEbeling教授为美国“城市昆虫学”学科创始人之一。1985年,中国白蚁科技协作中心秘书长林树青和高道蓉有幸在美国檀香山遇见该教授,他对中国的白蚁防治所取得的成就极为赞赏。他的著作“城市昆虫学”全面地介绍了城市昆虫学的各个领域,为了使我国广大白蚁防治工作者真正了解城市昆虫学的概况,经与W.Ebeling教授联系。他欣然同意我们将他的著作译成中文出版。为此,中国白蚁科技协作中心秘书长林树青组织下列人员翻译该书;高道蓉、贡金年、李小鹰、张开龙和岳世韵。译稿的校译依次由张开龙、高道蓉和Nao-Yao Su负责进行。全书由林树青定稿。本刊将不定期陆续刊出(页码依次顺序),请读者注意保存。最后全书将交出版社正式出版。
“City entomology” is a new discipline, Professor WalterEbeling, Department of Entomology, University of California, USA, is one of the founders of the American “Entomology”. In 1985, Lin Shuqing and Gao Daorong, secretary general of the China Termite Science and Technology Collaboration Center, had the honor to meet with the professor in Honolulu, United States. He praised the achievements of termite control in China. His book Urban Entomology provides a comprehensive introduction to various areas of urban entomology. In order to give a general understanding of urban entomology to the majority of termite control workers in our country, contact with Professor W. Ebeling. He readily agreed that we should translate his work into Chinese. To this end, Lin Shuqing, secretary general of China Termite Science and Technology Collaboration Center, organized the following persons to translate the book; Gao Tao Rong, Gong Jinnian, Li Xiaoying, Zhang Kai-long and Yue Shi-yun. The translation of the translation was followed by Zhang Kai Long, Gao Tao Rong and Nao-Yao Su. The book is finalized by Lin Shuqing. Articles will be published from time to time (page order, order), please readers to save. Finally, the book will be handed over to the official publishing press.
